Bill W. Speaks On "Rule 62"
Bill W. on the origin of “Rule 62”
So it took me a couple of days to realize my daily Daily Reflections emails were a day ahead of schedul (I missed/skipped December 22). And since I sent today’s Daily Reflection yesterday, I figured I could use today’s email to inform and remind everyone that the AA.org website just this week went live with a new site-wide design, effectively bringing it’s interface into a new, more complete and user-friendly era.
The site is simple and clean, and the navigation better displays the breadth of its content.
The content I might be happiest to be able to access more easily is the AA.org Media page, where archived are videos and audio clips of AA-related speeches and general information that can be of great use to anyone looking to recover from alcoholism.
Today I share with you one such audio clip, this of Bill W.’s quick take on the history of “Rule 62” — a concept heard referenced throughout AA rooms and groups throughout the years, and best explained from the man’s own mouth himself (click image to play audio).:
